Me and my journey.

Hi everyone! My name is Casey, and I’m a rising 3L in law school. I’m a first-generation college student, and my dreams of becoming a lawyer always felt far-fetched. However, after taking the LSAT and applying to schools, I was granted a full-tuition scholarship at one of my goal schools. If I can do it, you can too. My law school journey has taught me so much, but above all else, it’s taught me to never underestimate what you can achieve.

I’ve worked at several law firms, including general practices, real estate firms, and more. During the summer of 2023, I was fortunate enough to be a judicial intern under the iconic Hon. Rosemarie Aquilina. As of summer 2024, I am a Summer Law Associate at a Southeast Alaskan Tribal Organization.

During 2L, I worked as a criminal defense student law clerk, getting the opportunity to work on legal documents, assist in creating legal strategies for clients, and much more! Also during 2L, I was a board member of my law school’s Business Law Society and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Law.

I created this page because when I was studying for the LSAT, and researching law schools and the legal field, all I had to go off of were the rabbit-hole law school Reddit threads (that can be helpful, but caused me more anxiety than anything).

My podcast, blog, and social media accounts aim to cultivate a positive environment for those thinking about going to law school, studying for the LSAT, currently in law school, and beyond.
